The Really Useful Store Window Poster Design: Case Study

Client: Arians Ltd / The Really Useful Store (Waterloo Home Hardware branch network)Industry: Retail, Home Hardware & Local CommerceScope: Large-format window posters, seven custom dimensions, store-specific variations, and print-ready vector files.

The challenge

The client required large-format window posters for physical storefronts across multiple retail locations. The posters needed clear messaging, QR code areas, online search instructions, and adaptations for seven print specifications.

Our approach

Initial drafts included a circular local economy infographic. Following review, the infographic was removed and the layout was reworked around equidistant typography, high-contrast value proposition callouts, and icon-driven bullet points. The approved design was then adapted for Waterloo, Kensington, Bayswater, Islington, Walton, and two Ascot sizes.

What we delivered

  • Large-format window poster layouts for seven custom dimensions.
  • Store-specific variations for Waterloo, Kensington, Bayswater, Islington, Walton, and Ascot.
  • Dedicated QR code areas and fallback online search copy.
  • Vector QR code assets for store-specific links.
  • Editable .AI files and PDFs with outlined text and curves.
  • Full-color and greyscale production packages.

The result

The final bundle included complete full-color and greyscale production packages for the poster variations, following an audit and update of the delivered assets.
