The Sword & Trowel Logo Redraw and Asset Optimization: Case Study

Client: The Sword & Trowel Industry: Christian Mission and Religious Organization Scope: Custom vector redraw, brand asset deployment, and apparel embroidery design

The challenge

The Sword & Trowel needed its existing logo concepts professionally redrawn into a simple, distinctive identity that communicated faith-driven values, spiritual strength, community mobilization, and the message Mobilizing Men. The identity also had to remain consistent across digital applications, print, presentations, apparel, and restrictive embroidery production methods.

Our approach

We rebuilt the selected concept as a scalable vector system using the specified Dark Navy and Premium Gold palette, authoritative serif typography, and legible supporting type. We corrected the visual balance of the horizontal logo by centering the tagline beneath the brand name. When automated embroidery processing altered colors and component details, we created a dedicated production file, simplified geometry that could cause stitching problems, and manually mapped thread zones to the intended palette.

What we delivered

  • Master full-color and one-color vector artwork
  • Vertical wordmarks and horizontal logo configurations
  • Presentation icons and individual element icon sets
  • Minimalist badges, color inversions, and an apparel patch version
  • Scalable AI and SVG source files
  • Transparent high-resolution PNG files
  • Printify-ready hat and shirt assets optimized for embroidery

The result

The completed scalable identity package gave The Sword & Trowel a consistent set of execution-ready brand assets for digital use, print, presentations, promotional merchandise, and apparel. The dedicated embroidery files preserved the intended Navy and Gold identity while adapting detailed artwork to the technical requirements of textile production.
